Business Description Medair was founded in Switzerland in 1989 to provide
life-saving relief and lasting recovery to devastated
communities around the world.

BEYOND RELIEF
The work we do helps rescue and rebuild lives shattered
by natural disasters, conflicts, or other crises. We create
lasting impact by providing critical services and sharing
knowledge and skills that help people build a better future.

GUIDED BY SIX CORE VALUES
Our work starts and ends with our values of
compassion, integrity, accountability, hope, dignity,
and faith. We partner with more than 900 locally recruited staff
to carry out our projects and programmes.

PROGRAMMES SERVING ALMOST TWO MILLION PEOPLE IN 12 COUNTRIES
We do whatever it takes to bring relief where it’s most
needed. We provide a range of emergency relief and
recovery services: Health care and nutrition. Safe water,
sanitation, and hygiene. Shelter and infrastructure. As signatory to the Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and NGOs in disaster relief, Medair believes that aid should be given to everyone who is in need, and not be used to further a particular political, social, or religious viewpoint.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Why engage in CSR? - Reputation - Staff engagement -
Emotional & social impact
How to engage in CSR? Medair would love to help you design a CSR programme that is perfectly suited to your values and needs.
