Real Estate, the real estate market in strong recovery in 2022? The event “A tutta R” analyzes the sector’s perspectives

Tuesday, July 15 at Le Village in Milan the appointment with "A tutta R - Real Estate, Restart, Recovery, Responsibility", an event organized by Credit Village and T.W.I.N

MILAN, JUNE 1, 2021 - Real estate, restart, recovery, responsibility. These are the four keywords of "A tutta R", the event dedicated to the Real Estate market organized by Credit Village and T.W.I.N, which will be held on July 15 in Milan, at Le Village (Corso di Porta Romana, 61). An opportunity that aims to provide “food for thought” on the state of the art of the real estate sector, hit by the crisis generated by the Covid emergency, and on the prospects for recovery of a market that seems to see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel.

If, in fact, the prolonged lockdown phases in 2020 inevitably conditioned investments in commercial real estate (which, according to various sources, amounted to between 8.3 and 8.8 billion euros, down between 29% and 33% from the levels of 2019), already in the second half of 2021 a positive trend is expected, destined to consolidate into a real recovery in 2022. It will certainly be guided by the segments that, unlike those most penalized (retail, hospitality, office), during the pandemic they performed against the trend, such as industrial and logistics, driven by the strong push deriving from sectors such as e-commerce, grocery and pharmaceuticals, and healthcare, for which Italy is expected to need up to 80,000 more beds in the coming years, in particular to cope with the constant aging of the population. Experts also see the need for a renovation of the residential stock capable of responding to the new demand for services and comforts.

A rethinking of perspectives, transversal to the whole sector, is on the other hand a fundamental requirement for a restart. A need that will be addressed during the event organized by Credit Village and TWIN, through four round tables in which authoritative speakers and sector experts, moderated by Morya Longo, senior reporter of Il Sole 24 Ore, will discuss essential issues for the recovery: from the new post-covid scenarios, also outlined by the strategic value of ESG factors for the Real Estate Industry, to the role of Big Data in the NPL market, from trends in the sale of real estate to new forms and models of financing in real estate transactions.

"The impact of the pandemic is destined to leave a lasting mark on the Real Estate - explain the organizers - houses becoming offices, cancellation of short-term rents, change in social and territorial geographies, offices that are often empty such as shopping streets, houses of value that become increasingly more expensive and sought after, investors who moved their business focus exclusively to assets with excellent positioning and resilient tenants. A revolution that the sector will have to deal with seizing at the same time the opportunities that the context offer».
