FIABCI is looking for a motivated and dynamic trainee to assist both the Communication and Events services, as well as to help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations of the HQ team. This is a unique intern program that will provide you with valuable experience in internal and external communications, events management, marketing, and most importantly in the fast-paced environment of a small team supporting the world’s most representative real estate organization.

Reporting to the Communication & Digital Marketing Officer as well as to the Events & Protocol Officer, your role concerns the following tasks:

  • Help promote the organization and improve the visibility of the organization online and onsite during FIABCI’s global events
  • Create content for social media and website, including animations and videos
  • Design and produce promotional materials, such as flyers, banners and layouts
  • Draft mailings, invitations and HTMLs (online and paper format)
  • Follow up on delegates registrations for FIABCI Global events
  • Coordinate delegates welcome on site (lists, table plans, name plates)
  • Perform data entry and database processing/reporting
  • Follow up on requests for technical support or information from members

Candidate key qualifications

  • Apprentice/Student (master degree) in Marketing, Communication, Events or Digital
  • Ease with digital and social networks
  • Very good command of MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel as well as HTML / PHP and CSS
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is required - InDesign is a plus
  • Very good level of English and French, German and/or Spanish is a plus
  • Strong client orientation, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Previous experience in an international context
  • Availability to travel (1 to 3 times per year)
  • Must display the maturity required to work well independently and as part of a team with professionalism, discretion and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Eager to learn and apply new skills so as to grow both personally and professionally
