FIABCI-Netherlands has been active since the very beginning of FIABCI, dating back to 1951. Since 2017, with the support of the FIABCI leadership, the chapter has been undergoing a process of reform and renewal. This resulted in the return of NVM as a Principal Member at the FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Dubai in 2018, adding many more years to the more than 50-year history already shared together. In 2019, the chapter’s key priorities included the further renewal of its activities through the completion of the board with additional members and the appointment of a president in spring 2019, supported by experienced former chapter board members. The chapter also focused on strengthening cooperation with NVM and its associated members, as well as enhancing PR and marketing efforts and local activities to increase name recognition, grow the number of individual members, and ideally attract additional Principal and Academic Members.
