Presidential medal

FIABCI Presidential Medal

The World President is elected by the General Assembly for a one-year term, or until his successor assumes his or her post. The President cannot be immediately re-elected. He represents the Federation in its everyday business and is empowered to do so. He is authorized to act in the Federation’s name in all legal matters.

The World President in Office has to wear the Presidential Medal at all official meetings and visits during his/her mandate. At the closing ceremony of World Real Estate Congress, the outgoing World President transfers the Presidential medal to the incoming World President and receives the Past World President Medal as a symbol of transfer of Presidency.

The 1st World President and founder of FIABCI is Pierre COLLEVILLE (1951-1955, FIABCI-France).

Lily Chang is a distinguished real estate developer, entrepreneur, and international industry leader with more than 37 years of experience in real estate development, construction, and urban development. As President of Treasure Dragon Corp., MJ Construction Corp., and Galerie Pierre, she has played a significant role in shaping Taiwan's real estate landscape while promoting excellence in architecture, culture, and sustainable development.

Throughout her career, Ms. Chang has held numerous leadership positions in both public and private sectors. She has served as Consultant to the Taichung City Government since 2014 and was the 12th President of the Taichung City Real Estate Development Association from 2010 to 2013. She also served as the 3rd President of the Taiwan Architectural Aesthetics Cultural Economics Association and currently serves as Board Director and Vice President of the Taichung Cultural Education Foundation for Architecture. As Co-Founder and Director of Archiculture Form, she has actively promoted the integration of architecture, culture, and community development.

Internationally, Ms. Chang is recognized as one of the most influential leaders in the global real estate industry through her extensive involvement with FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation. She serves as FIABCI World President for 2026–2027, following her roles as World President-Elect (2025–2026), World Vice President (2024–2025), President of the Finance Committee (2023–2024), and President of the World Council of Developers and Investors (2022–2023). She has also served as President of FIABCI-Taiwan since 2020 and previously chaired its International Affairs Committee. Her contributions to the organization include leading major international events, such as the 41st Global Leadership Summit in 2022 and the 64th World Congress in 2013. In recognition of her outstanding service, she received the FIABCI Medal in 2013 and was honored as Property Man of the Year by FIABCI-Taiwan in 2012.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Chang is deeply committed to philanthropy and community service. She serves as President of the Teacher Chang Foundation, Co-Founder and former President of the Taiwan Action Bodhisattva Education Association, and former President of the Taiwan Arts Development Association for the Disabled. Through these roles, she has championed educational opportunities, cultural development, and support for disadvantaged communities.

Her leadership and contributions have earned numerous honors, including the Honorary Fellowship of the Architectural Institute of Taiwan (2023), the Prominent Alumni Award from Ming Chuan University (2014), and the Honorary Citizen Medal of Taichung City (2013).

Combining visionary leadership, global perspective, and a lifelong commitment to excellence, Lily Chang continues to make a lasting impact on the real estate industry, urban development, and community advancement both in Taiwan and around the world.
