Budiarsa Sastrawinata is the Managing Director of CIPUTRA GROUP and President Director of PT Ciputra Residence, the company behind numerous leading new town developments in Indonesia. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CIPUTRA Group's latest international new town developments ; Ciputra Hanoi International City in Vietnam and Grand Shenyang International City in China. He is also the President Director of PT Damai Indah Golf, a company that owns and operates two prestigious golf courses in Jakarta: the Jack Nicklaus Signature course and the Robert Trent Jones II designed course. Currently, he is holding several leading positions in various organizations such as the Indonesian Real Estate Association (REI) where he serves as Member of the Honorary Council, the Indonesian Broker Association (AREBI) where he was one of the Founding Members and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He is the Chairman of the Indonesia Vietnam Friendship Association (IVFA) since 2015, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Tarumanagara Foundation (Universitas Tarumanagara) since 2019, Advisory Board of the Employers' Association of Indonesia (APINDO) 2018-2023, Chairman of the Indonesian Public Listed Companies Association (AEI) 2021-2023, Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Golf Course Owners Association (APLGI) 2018-2022, Head of Integrated Property Development Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) 2021-2026. He once served as President of International Urban Development Association (INTA) from 2007 to 2013 and a Member of Parliament and the House of the Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia from 2004 to 2009. He is now the incumbent President of FIABCI-Indonesia and FIABCI World President elect 2022 – 2023. In 2018 – 2020, he was the FIABCI Vice President for Education & Academic Commitee.
