FIABCI-Saudi Arabia President: Hosting the Global PropTech Summit Reflects Saudi Arabia’s Alignment with Real Estate Technologies
The President of the Saudi Arabia Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), Mr. Abdullah Al-Harbi, affirmed that the Kingdom’s hosting of The Global PropTech Summit represents a significant global milestone and reflects the rapid alignment of Saudi Arabia’s real estate ecosystem with advanced property technologies and their growing role in driving investment within the digital economy.
Al-Harbi noted that the summit, which witnessed broad participation from leading experts and specialists in real estate and PropTech, alongside prominent CEOs and more than 100 speakers representing 80 countries, marks a pivotal moment for the future of the sector. He highlighted the active participation of the FIABCI Saudi chapter, describing it as a continuation of the organization’s strong presence across major regional and international platforms.
He added that what distinguishes the summit is its ability to bring together cutting-edge technologies with the real estate industry in an integrated and innovative framework that accelerates sector transformation.
Al-Harbi further stated: “The Global PropTech Summit provided a rare opportunity to explore the latest international real estate technologies and experiences, while strengthening avenues for international collaboration and partnerships across the PropTech landscape. It also supports the sector’s digital transformation journey and highlights the role of emerging technologies in shaping the future of real estate.”
He emphasized the growing impact of modern construction technologies, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence in redefining the built environment and advancing the broader real estate ecosystem.
The Global PropTech Summit was held in Riyadh from October 27 to 28, 2024, organized by the Real Estate General Authority. The summit concluded with a set of key recommendations following 50 panel discussions and scientific sessions, as well as 40 workshops. The event featured approximately 100 speakers from 80 countries, attracted around 9,000 in-person participants, and reached over 450,000 viewers through digital streaming.
The summit served as a unique platform for stakeholders to engage with emerging real estate technologies, exchange expertise, and connect with thought leaders and decision-makers across local, regional, and global markets.
The next edition of the Global PropTech Summit is scheduled to take place in October 2025.
