FIABCI, being the biggest network of real estate professionals, represents a strong power for FIABCI Georgia chapter. FIABCI provides access and opportunities for real estate professionals interested in gaining knowledge, sharing information and conducting international business with each other. Being part of this leading global real estate association, means access to the unique network of the sector key players worldwide. For Georgia, where construction market is booming and foreign investors from different countries see real estate investments in the country highly promising, it’s important to be part of FIABCI Family. Along with this impressive picture, today our country is facing a big challenge and this is about zero-energy efficient buildings. As part of the Association Agreement with the European Union, Georgia committed itself to joining the European Energy Union in accordance with the relevant EU directive. Accordingly, new buildings in Georgia must become Zero-Energy by 2028, just like lots of European and other cities from different parts of the world. Having organized an international forum “Energy Efficiency In Buildings” earlier this March where FIABCI World President delivered a keynote speech, we believe International real estate events dedicated to the latest trends happening in regards to urban planning, especially related to developing sustainable and resilient cities, are crucial for the industry globally. Here again, FIABCI is a valuable force as it supports national authorities in reaching Sustainable Development Goals and successfully implementing and monitoring the New Urban Agenda, through the collaboration with UN-Habitat to create the CPI-Circle of Prosperity. Another direction we see our major involvement, is education. We at FIABCI Georgia believe that properly qualified workforce and field professional will add value to the future of real estate sector and improve quality of living.
