FIABCI Malaysia Study Tour Highlights Hanoi’s Top Property Developments
A delegation of real estate professionals from Malaysia recently concluded a fruitful four-day study tour to Hanoi, Vietnam, organized by the FIABCI Malaysia chapter. The trip, held from December 3 to 6, 2025, offered an in-depth look at Vietnam's dynamic property market, focusing on internationally acclaimed developments that set benchmarks in master planning, environmental conservation, and luxury living.
The tour provided participants with exclusive access to several projects, some were winners of the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence awards. The itinerary was a curated showcase of Vietnam's urban transformation and architectural innovation.
Key site visits included Gamuda City Vietnam, a multi-award-winning township celebrated for its large-scale master planning (World Gold Winner, 2020) and its environmental heart, Yen So Park (World Gold Winner, 2018, Environmental Category). The park, a 102-hectare "green lung" for Hanoi, exemplifies sustainable urban rehabilitation.
The delegation also explored the high-rise and low-rise offerings of Capitaland Development in the Ocean Park area. The Senique (Ocean Park 1) presented a vision of high-density, amenity-rich living, while The Fullton (Ocean Park 3) introduced a gated community of villas and townhouses, marking the developer's foray into the low-rise segment in Hanoi. An evening at the Mega Grand World entertainment complex highlighted the integration of large-scale leisure into modern township planning.
On the second day of project visits, the delegates visited Ciputra Hanoi International City, a vast 450-hectare integrated urban area and a past FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards World Silver Winner (2019). The focus then shifted to ultra-luxury with Noble Crystal Tay Ho, a branded residence by Sunshine Group in partnership with WorldHotels. This project, featuring sky mansions with private pools and over 50 amenities, redefines high-end living in West Hanoi.
The final project visit was to ParkCity Hanoi in Ha Dong district, a master-planned township developed by Malaysia's ParkCity Group. The tour of its precincts, including the exclusive Le Jardin villas and the resort-style clubhouse, demonstrated a successful export of holistic community living concepts.
The trip combined professional enrichment with cultural experiences, including visits to Ba Dinh Square and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum as well as Grand Mega World which is often dubbed as little Venice in Hanoi, and free exploration recommendations like the Hanoi Old Quarter and Train Street. The tour underscored Hanoi's position as a magnet for international investment and a hub for world-class real estate development.
