FIABCI-Australia on the World Stage
FIABCI-Australia was proud to contribute to an important global discussion on housing at the Delegate Dining Room at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Representing the Real Estate Institute of Australia, Jacob Caine delivered a speech on what needs to happen to address the global housing crisis, bringing an Australian perspective to one of the world’s most urgent social and economic challenges.
The speech focused on three core ideas: building integrated housing systems, recognising energy efficiency as a critical driver of housing affordability, and creating de-risked supply chains to support the delivery of new housing.
Sincere thanks to FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation, and Secretary General Narek Arakelyan for the opportunity to speak at this significant international event.
Housing affordability and supply are global challenges, but they require practical, coordinated and locally informed solutions. FIABCI-Australia is pleased to be part of that conversation.
