A milestone for Rebuild Green 2030 at the New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels

In June 2026, the Rebuild Green 2030 programme took part in the New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels — and our shared Ukrainian stand was selected among only a small number of exhibitions for an official visit by Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and António Costa, President of the European Council.

For this special occasion, we prepared a symbolic gift: a Modulina cube bearing the inscription: “From the creators of Rebuild Green 2030 to the initiators of the New European Bauhaus. Brussels, June 2026.”

Among the selected exhibitions, there was only one Ukrainian stand. It was jointly presented by:

Rebuild Green 2030 by FIABCI-Ukraine, SYNCHRO SPACE and Modulina Straw Panels, together with the Circular Lab Ukraine programme by REthink.

We had the honour of representing not only Ukraine, but also one of the most sustainable and climate-relevant construction solutions — prefabricated straw panels.

We also presented a programme that, through joint Lithuanian-Ukrainian efforts, has already united participants and partners from more than 20 Ukrainian communities and 16 countries around a shared vision of sustainable, resilient and climate-conscious reconstruction.

We are deeply proud that Rebuild Green 2030 received recognition and attention at such a high institutional level. We believe this milestone will bring us closer to securing the strategic partnerships, institutional support and grant funding required to expand the programme and turn more innovative concepts into real projects for Ukrainian communities.
