Najib Ibrahim, Managing Director of Cyberview said, “The City Prosperity Initiative – Perception Index (CPI-PI) will now serve as an important indicator for us as we continue to map out Cyberjaya’s future growth potential in the spaces of smart city and liveability. We do not want to lose sight of what is important to our community by merely focusing on technology and innovation per se.” He adds that insights gained from this report, indicate that infrastructure laid, most notably in providing superior connectivity is a key contributor to economic growth. “We are also pleased to see that green spaces as a factor, was rated favourably. This is encouraging for Cyberjaya as we continue to preserve and enhance the city landscape for greenery. The city’s liveability aspects are always considered topmost and are in parallel with all efforts to continue moving the needle in technology and innovation. Putting together all these pieces successfully for the benefits of the community here, is a differentiation for Cyberjaya that we are creating.”
