Over 50 real estate professionals from 15 countries joined the FIABCI Trade Mission to New York
A delegation of over 50 real estate professionals from 15 countries around the world travelled to New York City as part of the FIABCI Investment Forum and Trade Mission from 15 to 16 September. The two-day networking event was an initiative led by Susan Greenfield, who was recently installed as FIABCI World President.
The trade mission’s programme included study tours to some of the city’s most prominent assets, namely the Towers of the Waldorf Astoria by Douglas Elliman, Central Park Tower by Extell Development, and Hudson Yards by Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group.
The FIABCI Delegation also attended an investment forum on the topic of "How the Pandemic and ESG changed Global Real Estate Investments over the last two years”. The session was moderated by FIABCI World President 2007-2008 Julian Josephs, and the guest panellists included David Pahl, Managing Director of US Income Investments at GTIS PARTNERS, Elchanan Rosenheim, Managing Director at PROFIMEX, and Steve Guberer, Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at Grosvenor. The discussion was followed by a business networking session, organised in partnership with Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, a Principal Member of FIABCI-USA, and Foxworth Realty.
The 50 delegates ended the two-day networking event with a historical tour of Manhattan’s West Side and dinner at the Red Rooster in Harlem.
