FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award Ceremony & Presidential Visit to Taiwan
World President Budiarsa Sastrawinata and fellow FIABCI representatives from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the United States visited Taiwan between 26 and 30 July, taking part in FIABCI-Taiwan’s annual Real Estate Excellence Awards ceremony, held once again at Grand Hyatt Taipei this year. This is the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic for the Gala Dinner to be resumed. The World President also took this opportunity to have meetings with FIABCI-Taiwan president Lily Chang and other chapter leadership.
FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards
This year marks the 18th anniversary of FIABCI-Taiwan’s Real Estate Excellence Awards, the national edition of Prix d’Excellence in Taiwan. World President Budiarsa Sastrawinata joined Taiwan’s Vice Premier Cheng Wen-Tsan in congratulating two gold and two silver-winning projects of this year’s Prix d’Excellence from the Taiwanese chapter.
More than 230 projects were recognised at this year’s ceremony, which was televised and covered by several national media outlets. The chapter was also honoured to have Vice Premier Cheng and Deputy Minister Wu from the Ministry of the Interior and Deputy Minister Chen from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications as this year’s awards presenters.
Visit of Panasonic PoME showroom and Taichung
World President Budiarsa Sastrawinata and fellow representatives from sister chapters were warmly received by Panasonic’s PoME showroom in Taipei. The delegation visited the showroom on the morning of 28 July and was amazed by the cutting-edge gadgets and household appliances from Panasonic.
The delegation then travelled to Taichung and was given a special tour of Garden Gendii and Humbleness Gendii, the latest development projects from FIABCI-Taiwan President Lily Chang’s Treasure Dragon Corp. World President Budiarsa was joined by senior leaders of FIABCI-Taiwan, including FIABCI-Taiwan President Lily Chang and Vice President David Tang, at several dining events. The trip finished with a special birthday surprise to World Council of Developers and Investors Secretary Joan Sato and many are looking forward to seeing the World President again later this year in Jakarta.
