CIPUTRA GROUP THRIVES DURING THE PANDEMIC WITH NEW MALL LAUNCH AND HOSPITAL EXPANSION
CIPUTRA MALL TANGERANG, the first mall in West Tangerang in Banten province, developed by CIPUTRA Group is located right in the middle of the CitraRaya Tangerang, a 2,760 hectares township development where there are already 68,000 residents and 50 housing clusters. Ciputra Mall Tangerang was officially opened in July 2020 with a total planned gross floor area of around 100,000 m2 and it was built with an investment of around US$ 70 million. Standing on an area of 4.5 hectares, Ciputra Mall Tangerang is one of the largest shopping centers in the Tangerang area. This mall becomes a new destination in CitraRaya Tangerang which meets all the daily needs of residents of CitraRaya Tangerang and its surrounding residents. Ciputra Mall Tangerang has around 90 tenants with 178 shops scattered on all six floors of the mall. Ciputra Mall Tangerang will become the top entertainment destination in the region with the presence of a classy cinema service and several modern retailers. Family recreation centers can be found at the Funworld. Ciputra Mall Tangerang provides a basement parking area with a capacity of 291 cars and an outdoor parking area with a capacity of 1,125 units of motorcycles and 596 cars. Ciputra Mall Tangerang is one of the innovative projects.
While Indonesia is still battling the COVID-19 pandemic, the CIPUTRA Hospitals in the CitraGarden City–Jakarta (450 hectares township development) and CitraRaya–Tangerang, have built negative-pressure isolation rooms with a total capacity of 210 beds dedicated to COVID-19 patients. The two hospitals are equipped with standard facilities according to the COVID-19 Building & Infrastructure guidelines. The addition of this isolation facility is an act of Corporate Social Responsibility to support the community and ensure the availability of referral hospitals capable of dealing with the increasing number of COVID-19 patients. The CIPUTRA Hospital isolation room also has an ICU and HCU rooms with ventilators, patient monitoring units, and hemodialysis rooms. All medical personnel is equipped with adequate Personal Protective Equipment corresponding to the WHO standards. Last but not least, the CIPUTRA Hospital also provides rapid test and swab test services with RT-PCR in collaboration with government non-referral laboratories for the communities to help improve the diagnostic accuracy of COVID-19 patients’ criteria using a drive-through system.
