FIABCI-Taiwan and respective Secretariat remain in operation amid increasing concern over the pandemic
In response to a sudden rise in confirmed COVID-19 cases and an increasing level of community transmission, Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) raised the epidemic warning level to Level 3 in Taipei City and New Taipei City on May 15, limiting the size of social gatherings and closing schools. This precautionary measure was later heightened to the national level on May 19. As of now, the Level 3 warning is effective until June 14.
FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards is now in the final judging stage, and the panel of judges has decided to finish the remaining judging process via video conference. The award ceremony, originally scheduled to take place on July 22nd at Grand Hyatt Taipei, has now been tentatively postponed to September.
Following the recommendations from the CECC, FIABCI-Taiwan Secretariat staff started working from home, ensuring the continued provision of essential services to our members. Truly, we are all in this war against COVID-19 together, and let’s hope our lives can soon go back to normal.
