FIABCI-Taiwan Successfully Concluded Board Meeting & Sustainable Architecture, Future Trends Forum
FIABCI-Taiwan held its seasonal Board Meeting and Sustainable Architecture, Future Trends Forum on July 8th in Taichung. In addition to the regular reports from the different committees, the board meeting also included an in-depth discussion on the preparations for next year’s World Congress in Vienna, as President Lily Chang will assume the role of FIABCI World President.
The afternoon forum focused on the future trends of same-floor drainage system and unit bath in apartment buildings. Industry and academic experts, namely Simon Shih-Meng Huang, President of the Taiwan Unit Bathroom Association, and Sabrina Li-Ting Lin, CEO of Fabulous Group, were invited to share their valuable experiences and insights. The forum was organized by FIABCI-Taiwan, with co-organizers Taiwan Unit Bathroom Association and Taiwan Toilet Association. It garnered significant attention and participation from public sector agencies and industry professionals.
In her opening remarks, FIABCI-Taiwan President Lily Chang emphasized the future development trends of same-floor drainage systems. She noted that such systems not only effectively reduce the impact of plumbing maintenance on neighbors in apartment buildings but also contribute to the overall building maintenance. However, she also mentioned that further research and promotion of this technology is needed to ensure its broader application.
At the conclusion of the forum, President Chang expressed her gratitude to the experts and guests who participated and added, “We hope to have more forums and exchange opportunities in the future, allowing more professionals in the construction industry to understand and adopt these advanced building concepts, further promoting the development of the industry and driving the sector towards sustainable architecture.”
