Rebuilding Ukrainian Cities Green Initiative
In a groundbreaking move at the FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Miami, FIABCI-Ukraine proudly embraced the UN Global Charter, "Building Better Lives." Since then, the chapter's commitment to sustainable development has materialized through the formation of the Rebuilding Ukrainian Cities Green (RUCG) Committee.
Led by architect Alissa Ban'kovska, this dynamic committee swiftly began operations in September 2023. By October, key milestones were achieved, including a collaboration agreement with the European Straw Building Association, led by Cypren Edmunds. Additionally, Mike Diveria, heading the Ukrainian Initiative Task Force, announced the initiative at the Architectural Practice booth. The Rebuild Ukraine Forum in Warsaw this November, attended by committee member Lyubov Tsapenkova, and the upcoming "Ukraine Green Recovery Conference" in Vilnius are next on the agenda.
Represented by Laurynas Marcinkus and Alissa Ban'kovska, the committee aims to spotlight innovative solutions for eco-friendly urban development. Join them in making a resounding statement for Sustainable Rebuilding and lead the charge in transforming Ukrainian cities into models of green resilience.
During the 42nd FIABCI Global Leadership Summit in Riyadh, Kateryna Pylypchuk will share an innovative decarbonization tool for the construction industry - straw technology for insulation and building.
