The FIABCI Nigeria Annual General Meeting was successfully held on 5 July 2023 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The ceremony was further reinforced and enriched with the induction of new members, which was a debut and landmark event sponsored by eleven companies.

The ceremony kicked off with an audio-visual address by the FIABCI World President, Mr Budiarsa Sastrawinata, who expressed his delight over the invitation. While introducing the different oncoming programmes of FIABCI, he reeled out the several advantages of FIABCI membership and encouraged the FIABCI-Nigeria Executive and Board to keep up with their dedication to bringing the gains of FIABCI to the doorsteps of real estate professionals in Nigeria.

The Induction ceremony which followed thereafter witnessed the official admission of a record-breaking 41 new members drawn from different professions and sectors of the real estate industry in Nigeria. At the end of the induction, the new members were decorated with FIABCI symbols of membership, and Membership Certificates and gifts were presented to them.

The third stage of the ceremony was the keynote speech delivered by a public relations expert and Managing Director of PR Africa International, Prince Dapo Adelegan, and the topic of his speech was “Real Estate, Leadership and Branding.” He advised FIABCI-Nigeria to take advantage of its position by becoming an ambassador for promoting its opportunities at the global level and attracting global attention to our local real estate market through foreign mortgage negotiations, innovative ideas and professional branding. The main speech was concluded with a Q&A session.

The Annual General Meeting kicked off thereafter and was moderated by FIABCI-Nigeria President, Mr Gladstone Opara.
