Board meeting held via video-conference amid escalating pandemic in Taiwan

The leadership of FIABCI-Taiwan met online last Friday, June 25, for the second quarter of the year. Much like Belinda Moore’s presentation during the 2021 FIABCI Real Estate Days, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought challenges and changes in many aspects and the need to embrace digital transformation has never been this timely and compelling.
FIABCI-Taiwan President Lily Chang reiterated in her opening remarks that solidarity is especially important during a crisis like this. The turn-out of the day was a record-high, and many praised the specially prepared virtual background.
The highlight of the meeting was the discussion about the annual plan. Due to the pandemic, all events in June have been canceled and many upcoming events have now been postponed, including the annual FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards ceremony. Nevertheless, board members remain confident that we could endure the challenges together, and expect a return to normalcy soon.
