Jordi Ribó visits France and The Netherlands in first presidential trip
FIABCI World President Jordi Ribó started his first official three-day presidential trip on June 23, which included visits to Paris, France, as well as Amsterdam and Nieuwegein, The Netherlands.
Jordi Ribó was welcomed by Secretary-General Narek Arakelyan and Head of Events & Protocol Alessandra Maglietta on Wednesday for a working lunch at La Verrière restaurant, which was followed by a high-level meeting with H.E. Mrs. Eva Descarrega Garcia, Ambassador of the Principality of Andorra to the French Republic and the Principality of Monaco.
Later in the evening, at Le Fouquet's Paris, FIABCI International and FIABCI-France signed the amendment of the agreement regarding the organization of the 72nd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress to take place in the French capital from June 7-10, 2022. World President Jordi Ribó and FIABCI-France President Léo Attias were the signatories of the amendment on behalf of the International Real Estate Federation and the local Chapter, respectively.
FIABCI-France then held its ordinary General Assembly, followed by a panel discussion under the theme "Emerging from the health crisis: What prospects for French real estate?". Moderated by Henry Buzy-Cazaux, FIABCI-France Vice-President, the session included the special participation of Mickaël Nogal, Deputy for Haute-Garonne, Christine Leconte, President of the Order of the Architects IDF, Alain Duffoux, President of SNPI, Olivier Safar, Vice-President of UNIS, and Emmanuel Di Girolamo, Administrator of FNAIM.
Thursday, June 24, started with a meeting with the Organizing Committee of the 72nd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress at the SNPI Headquarters in Paris, within the framework of the signing ceremony of the day before.
FIABCI World President Jordi Ribó later paid a visit to the FIABCI General-Secretariat for a working session, and the day finished with a reception organized by Arch. Jacques Rougerie in celebration of the FIABCI World President's visit to Paris on the Saint Paul's Peniche. The reception also marked the final stage of the agreement concerning the organization of the Jacques Rougerie Foundation Awards during the FIABCI Global Leadership Summit 2022 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
The final stretch of Jordi Ribó's first presidential trip happened on Friday, June 25, in Amsterdam and Nieuwegein, in The Netherlands. The FIABCI World President and Secretary-General Narek Arakelyan met with the local Chapter leadership and, after that, with the representatives of the Principal Member NVM.
Another highlight of the World President’s agenda was a meeting with Bundeling. Further to the decision of the Board of Directors, in the context of the new Strategic Plan 2021-2025, FIABCI signed an agreement with Bundeling to implement a business networking platform for all FIABCI members worldwide. The presentation of this platform will take place on September 7, during the MIPIM September Edition.
