The awards recognize exemplary projects that showcase exceptional quality, innovation, and vision, offering valuable guidance for future real estate development. Through the Prix, Austrian real estate excellence is made visible both nationally and internationally, serving as a benchmark for sustainable and cutting-edge urban development.
The award ceremony marked the grand finale of the Prix d'Excellence Austria 2025 competition. Since 2018, FIABCI-Austria and ÖVI have jointly organized this biennial, nationwide competition to spotlight the country’s finest real estate achievements. This year, the jury selected 15 finalists from among 45 submissions.
Each finalist was presented at the ceremony with a dedicated video production, before category sponsors announced the winners. The recipients were presented with the distinctive Prix d’Excellence trophy, a symbol of excellence produced through more than 100 hours of 3D printing and adorned with 24-carat gold leaf.
The evening was hosted by Dr. Matthias Gass, FIABCI-Austria President, and Georg Flödl, President of ÖVI, alongside Roman Eisenmagen, Head of Commercial Residential Construction of ERSTE, who served as host and venue sponsor. FIABCI World President Ramon Riera invited attendees to engage with the global FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards, described as the “world’s finest property achievement.” Jury Chair Hannes Horvath provided insights into the judging process, while Anton Holzapfel and his philharmonic ensemble contributed a refined musical program to the evening.
