FIABCI Expands Global Network Through New and Renewed Partnerships, Key MoU Signing, and Future Prospects
FIABCI continues to expand its global network after forging new alliances with key international partners recently. The official announcement came after the Board of Directors' Meeting, which happened in paralell to MIPIM Cannes, where FIABCI participates every year as an exhibitor.
Our new partners are from Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and South Africa. These alliances are vital for FIABCI, as they enable access to a broader network of resources, expertise, and opportunities, facilitating collaboration with industry leaders, governmental bodies, and other stakeholders, and fostering knowledge exchange and innovation.
Following the successful approval by the Board of Directors on March 14, we extend a heartfelt welcome to the following partners to the FIABCI Community.
Panasonic: HEATING & VENTILATION A/C COMPANY, PANASONIC CORPORATION (HVAC), is a global leading company providing air and water technologies that secure a comfortable and sustainable new world. HVAC is specialized in development, manufacture and sales of residential air conditioners, electric water heaters, CO2 heat pump water heaters, air-to-water heat pumps, commercial air conditioners, VRF multi-split air conditioning systems for buildings, gas heat pump air conditioners and absorption chillers, air-related systems such as ventilation systems, air purification systems and dehumidification systems as well as design/operation/management and maintenance of environmental equipment such as ventilation fans and air-conditioners.
GFC Taiwan: Golden Friends Corporation, 崇友實業 (GFC) is an elevator company from Taiwan, currently based in Taipei. It provides elevator and escalator installations under the GFC brand, and also distributes Toshiba elevators and escalators. It has an elevator factory in Yangmei District, Taoyuan which was completed in 1997 and is able to produce more than 3000 elevators a year.

International Institute of Mediators (iiM): The International Institute of Mediators (Singapore)(iiM) is a non-profit organisation set up to develop and promote the mediation profession. Its Vision is to develop the mediation profession for the global environment, and its Mission is to foster a harmonious global environment through mediation and development of the mediation profession through education, training and best practices.
FIABCI also signed a key Memorandum of Understanding with the African Real Estate Society (AfRES). The African Real Estate Society (AfRES), founded in 1997, is a continent-wide organization that seeks to promote networking, research and education among property professionals across Africa. AfRES is affiliated to the International Real Estate Society (IRES), along with sister societies in North America (ARES), Asia (AsRES), Europe (ERES), the Pacific Rim (PRRES) and Latin America (LaRES). There is no profit motive and no person is paid for his or her services. The warmth and mutual support amongst members and between sister societies is characteristic, and anyone who wants to contribute is welcome. AfRES membership is currently organized on three regions: Southern Africa, Eastern Africa, and Western Africa.
Last but not least, FIABCI is thrilled to announce the renewal of the long-standing partnerships with Ciputra Group and YKK AP.
By forging alliances, we can amplify our global presence and tackle industry challenges more effectively. Additionally, such partnerships enable the sharing of best practices, which ultimately contributes to the advancement and sustainability of the real estate sector on a global scale.
