Chapters celebrate National Prix d'Excellence Awards

What do Malaysia, Hungary, Germany and Colombia all have in common? All of these Chapters recognized excellence in real estate this past November. From the Malaysia Property Award™ to the FIABCI-USA High Tea & the Grand Prix Recognition Awards, here is a recap of all the national property awards that took place over the last couple of weeks.

Malaysia Property Award™ 2019 Gala Dinner & Award Presentation

The Malaysia Property Award™ 2019 was held on November 2^nd at the One World Hotel Malaysia, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Che Puan Besar Dato' Seri Utama Hajjah Haminah binti Haji Hamidun and attended by 1,200 guests including FIABCI World President Walid Moussa, FIABCI World President Elect Florentino Dulalia, and several other FIABCI representatives.

Paramount Corporation Berhad Chairman and Executive Director Dato' Teo Chiang Quan and KLC Property Holdings Berhad CEO Datuk Hashim bin Wahir took home the main awards of the night: the title of Property Man of the Year and Property CEO of the Year, respectively.

FIABCI-Hungary National Prix d’Excellence

On November 8^th, FIABCI-Hungary celebrated the 21^st edition of the Chapter’s Prix d’Excellence with the support of 10 leading associations as well as the Hungarian government, through the presence of State Secretary of the Prime Minister Office Bence Tuzson who distributed the awards to the winning projects. There was a record number of sustainable buildings among the 30 project submissions that also included several developments in the categories “office building”, “hotel” and “heritage”.

FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany 2019

The German edition of the “Oscars of the Property World” took place on November 15^th in Berlin, organized by FIABCI-Deutschland in partnership with BFW (Bundesverband Freier Immobilien - und Wohnungsunternehmen).

The Metropolis House at the Jewish Museum in Berlin and the House of Bavarian History in Regensburg were acclaimed gold winners in the housing and business categories, respectively. Full press release here.

FIABCI-Colombia Prix d’Excellence

FIABCI-Colombia presented its national awards on November 20th in Bogotá to innovative projects that contribute to improving the quality of life of those who inhabit them while improving the physical and social conditions of the surrounding communities.

Movistar Arena emerged as the evening's big winner, having also been selected in the caterogy of special projects. The merit award was given to Clemencia Parra (Unifianza) and Juan Felipe Hoyos (Coninsa Ramón H.). The medal of life and work was awarded to Luis Rafael Hoyos (Araújo y Segovia).

The winning projects will be submitted by the Chapters to the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Awards 2020 that will take place during the FIABCI World Real Estate Congress next May in Manila, Philippines.
