Celebrating twenty-five years of supporting the next generation of cross-border real estate professionals, the FIABCI Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce five new grants.

These outstanding students have shown academic achievement, clear international goals, financial need and a history of community involvement:

Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate

  • Anangga Wirasatya from Indonesia is completing his Master’s and plans to become an expert in housing development to provide comprehensive solutions that incorporate the public and private sectors in affordable housing.
  • Bonish Shah from India will use his experience at Cornell to respond to the Indian Prime Minister’s call to build 50 million affordable homes by 2022 as part of the Housing for All initiative.

Harvard University Graduate School of Design

  • Longfeng Wu from China is working on his Doctorate in Design and his dissertation is on the function, use and perception of public green spaces for assessing equitable distribution for everyone in Beijing.
  • Xuanyi Nie is also from China and his dissertation explores the integration between the healthcare industry and urban development through inter-governmental collaborations to finance and construct healthcare-driven campuses to drive development.
