National Chapters Awards Roundup: Germany and Malaysia
It was a busy month for FIABCI Chapters, namely Germany and Malaysia, who recognized national real estate projects with the world's finest property achievement.
November started with FIABCI-Deutschland Prix d'Excellence Awards. As per usual, the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Hotel hosted on November 2 the ceremony that included a champagne reception, three-course dinner and, last but not least, the presentation of the 2018 winners! This year, the Chapter received entries from 11 cities. The gold prize was won by upTOWNHOUSES in Hamburg (residential category) and UPPER WEST in Berlin (commercial category). The following project developments have also received the FIABCI-Deutschland Prix d'Excellence Award:

Silver: The Wooden Hybrid - Micro Housing for Students, Berlin
Bronze: KunstCampus, Berlin

Bronze: DIGITAL CHURCH, Aachen
Towards the end of the month, another Chapter celebrated the "crème de la crème" of the national real estate industry with a gala dinner. The Malaysia Property Award, the oldest and one of the most prestigious, took place on November 17 in Kuala Lumpur. The following projects were awarded with the coveted recognition:
- Property Man: Tan Sri Dato' Sri Lim Hock San (Group Managing Director, LBS Bina Group Berhad)
- Property CEO: Datuk Matthew Tee Kai Woon (Group Executive Director, Bina Puri Holdings Bhd)
- Heritage (Restoration/Conservation): Caffe Diem @ Pekan Cina (Encomas Sdn Bhd)
- Industrial: I-Park @ Indahpura (AME Development Sdn Bhd)
- Master Plan: Desa ParkCity (Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd)
- Office: Bangunan Ibu Pejabat PKNS (Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor - PKNS)
- Purpose-Built: Setia SPICE (S P Setia Berhad)
- Residential (High Rise): The Greens (Bellworth Developments Sdn Bhd)
- Retail: Sunway Velocity Mall (Sunway Velocity Mall Sdn Bhd)
