Maimunah Mohd Sharif re-elected head of UN-Habitat
FIABCI would like to extend a sincere congratulations to Ms. Maimunah Mohd Sharif for a further 2-year term as Executive Director of our Global Partner UN-Habitat. We wish Ms. Sharif much success and look forward to strengthening our cooperation while working towards a better urban future.
The City We Need Now
FIABCI supports the New Urban Agenda, reaffirming our commitment to equitable, sustainable urban development in an integrated and coordinated manner. In the context of our long-term work and cooperation with UN-Habitat and the World Urban Campaign, we are pleased to invite you to join the "The City We Need Now - Middle East Launch", a movement from the Middle East aiming at creating a better urban future under the theme "The City We Need Now!". This event is an UN-supported initiative focusing on exchanging knowledge and best practices as well as fostering action-oriented solutions to the pressing challenges that we are facing. It is a forum for citizens of the globe, private businesses, governments, academia, youth, NGOs, and other stakeholders to co-think and co-act.
