Unlocking Global Real Estate: Insights from FIABCI-España's #INMOINTER21
Last Thursday, April 25th, FIABCI-España's flagship event - INMOINTER - took place at the API Center in Barcelona, in partnership with API Catalunya (Col·legis i Associació d'Agents Immobiliaris de Catalunya), Spain's largest real estate association and a Principal Member of our local chapter.
Marking its 21st edition, the event aimed to showcase emerging opportunities in the global real estate market while opening new paths to streamline international transactions for real estate professionals.
The high-level lineup of speakers featured Ramon Riera Torroba, FIABCI World President-Elect; Felice Tufano, President of the European Region; Luis Fabra, Real Estate Chair Director; Nuria Cortéz, Speaker, Author, and Professional Networking Trainer; and Baltasar Pozuelo, CEO of Area 8.
INMOINTER explored various topics including foreign investment, market trends, and international real estate networking.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the report titled "Relationship of Nationality in Housing Purchases and Mortgage Financing 2023" by Luis Fabra, Real Estate Chair Director. Co-authored by FIABCI-España and API Catalunya, drawing on data from diverse statistical sources including the Spanish Association of Registrars, this groundbreaking report stands as the first English-language publication of its kind focusing on the Spanish territory. Its insights hold significant importance for the global real estate community, touching upon key areas such as:
