MIPIM 2020: Filippo Réan reveals what to expect from "The Future is Human"

Filippo Réan, Director of the Real Estate Division of Reed MIDEM was special guest of Léo Attias, FIABCI-France President at the Chapter’s Business Networking soirée held on February 4 at the Fouquet's Paris. Mr. Réan was invited to present the main lines of upcoming MIPIM 2020 - happening from March 10 to 13 in Cannes -, which attracted 26,800 players from all sectors of the property industry last year.
Since its creation in 1990, MIPIM is one of the places where trends in real estate are formed; therefore it is only fitting that distinguished guests and high-level speakers are invited to attend. Last year, Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations gave the opening keynote speech. This year, Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder and forward-thinking entrepreneur will be the one to deliver keynote remarks.
When asked to speak about “The Future is Human” – theme of this 2020 edition - Filippo Réan explained it will be focused on three parts: the first one, on integrating new profiles - women and younger generations - in real estate; the second one, on adopting a user-center approach when it comes to building; and, last but not least, the third one, on prioritizing the “human” dimension, referring to the role of real estate in the construction of cities.
As one of the most active Chapters in the world, FIABCI-France organizes a Business Networking event monthly at the famous Fouquet’s on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, where members and non-members are invited to come and hear from prominent speakers on a given topic.
