FIABCI successfully concluded its participation at MIPIM 2025, a unique week-long urban festival in Cannes. Over four days, FIABCI facilitated high-level discussions, forged strategic partnerships, and provided exclusive networking opportunities, offering a exclusive platform to drive innovation and collaboration within the sector.

FIABCI Gala Dinner: Setting the Stage for MIPIM

Setting the stage for our Global Partner RX France's premier event, the traditional FIABCI Gala Dinner took place at the renowned Hotel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes. This sold-out soirée brought together distinguished guests from around the world for an evening of fine dining, live entertainment, and invaluable networking.

Special appreciation goes to COFECI-CRECI and its President, João Teodoro da Silva, for leading the largest delegation at this event. We also extend our gratitude to our chapters from Belgium, France, Indonesia, Nigeria, and the USA for their strong presence.

FIABCI Pavilion at MIPIM: A Hub for Global Real Estate Leaders

The FIABCI Pavilion at MIPIM 2025 served as a central meeting point for members, partners, and industry leaders. With over 115 FIABCI members representing more than 30 countries, the pavilion facilitated key discussions, knowledge-sharing, and business development opportunities.

Conference Program: Building Future-Ready Cities and Communities

FIABCI’s conference sessions featured more than 20 reputable speakers addressing the theme “Building Future-Ready Cities and Communities.”

A standout panel discussion, “Urban Development – New Business Models for the Future,” explored the evolving economics of urban districts and large-scale corporate projects. Experts emphasized the importance of strong business plans, strategic asset management, and community-focused developments that integrate essential amenities.

FIABCI also hosted the session “Real Estate & Sports Facilities – A Key Driver of Urban Renewal & Investment through PPP,” highlighting how multifunctional sports facilities are transforming urban landscapes by fostering economic growth and community engagement.

FIABCI-Ukraine: Showcasing Innovation in Sustainable Urban Development

FIABCI-Ukraine spearheaded two insightful sessions, underscoring the importance of sustainable rebuilding and cutting-edge construction solutions.

“Rebuild Ukrainian Cities Green” outlined strategies for international investors, developers, and technology leaders to drive high-impact urban transformation while generating long-term value. Key topics included:
- Circular economy and bio-based materials for sustainable construction
- Public-private partnerships and investment opportunities in Ukraine’s urban regeneration
- Common Ground in Severynivka (Vinnytsia region) – an innovative cultural and educational center for displaced families, built with bio-based, energy-efficient materials
- Scalable solutions for real estate, infrastructure, and smart cities to enhance resilience
- Presentation of the Social Investment Projects Catalog and investment opportunities

A second session focused on groundbreaking solutions reshaping the construction industry.

Spotlight on the New Tashkent Masterplan

Outside of the FIABCI Pavilion, the Deputy Mayor of Tashkent, Sharof Rakhmanov, presented the visionary New Tashkent masterplan, developed by London-based Cross Works. This ambitious project spans 25,000 hectares and aims to nearly double the capital’s size, providing housing for 2.5 million residents and solidifying Tashkent’s status as Central Asia’s largest metropolis.

Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations

FIABCI strengthened key partnerships throughout MIPIM 2025, engaging in bilateral discussions with Global Partner UN-Habitat and launching a new collaboration with RICS to advance sustainable urban development initiatives.
