Spotlight in Cartagena for "The City between Art and Technology"

On October 4 and 5, the spotlight was in Cartagena for the Young Members World Congress 2018, hosted by FIABCI-Colombia. Under the theme "The City between Art and Technology", the main focus of the two-day event was to promote an interdisciplinary discussion between professionals from different areas of expertize. "I believe that only through discussions that include multiple perspectives, will we take advantage of opportunities in such a way that is good for our industry, good for our clients and good for citizens of the world.", FIABCI World President Assen Makedonov said.
The impact of new technologies in the real estate sector more broadly and how these advances reshape the cities in particular made for a very productive conference that culminated with the Prix d'Excellence Awards gala: "The theme: “Between Art and Technology” is a timely exploration of how today’s ― and tomorrow’s ― technology will impact and forever change our industry. Its focus on the near and not-so-distant future is an impressive combination of the practical approach we need now... and the visionary approach we must take if our professions are to thrive and move forward.", Mr. Makedonov added.
The two-day conference came to an end with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of FIABCI-Colombia Prix d'Excellence Awards, which awarded the Grand Hyatt Bogota hotel as the winner of the night.
