The professional questions will be posed to Investors and Asset management professionals from Germany (Joerg Baehren, RE Rise GMBH), UK (Michael Russel, RE Rise Gmbh) and India (Suchit Punnose, Red Ribbon Asset Management) by the different market experts from the emerging economies in Europe: Ukraine (Anna Koval, Past president of FIABCI-Ukraine, SCG International real estate&investment projects ), Bulgaria (Ivan Velkov, President of FIABCI-Bulgaria, chairman of the Bulgarian Facility Management Association), Georgia (Irakli Kilauridze, board member of FIABCI-Georgia, managing partner of Colliers International) and Romania (Dan Negulescu, REALTOR, NAR Ambassador for CE Europe 2019).
The questions will be based on the current economic situation in their real estate markets.

In his now over 35 years Career in Construction, Fund and Investment Business, Joerg Baehren has managed over 40 Real Estate Funds with a total investment volume over EUR10bln with more than 65,000 Investors and almost 700 Properties and Project Developments in Germany, USA, UK, NL, France, Sweden, China, Brazil, Romania, United Arab Emirates and Montenegro. Joerg is Director Projects & Investments at RE RISE GmbH, an independent and internationally operating Company for the Management of innovative Investments in Real Estate Project Developments and Portfolios in Emerging Markets.
Michael Russell, a highly experienced international property professional operating at Board level having been CFO of a number of property development companies and Chelsea Village plc – owners of Chelsea Football Club where he successfully placed an industry first £75 million asset backed Euro Bond with institutional clients and floated the company on the London Stock Market. Moved into Fund Management with Jones Lang LaSalle and after several years overseeing numerous UK property funds ultimately through the 2008 crisis joined Charlemagne Capital as Private Equity Director with responsibility for all Property Funds including new product origination. Amongst other projects currently managing a Fund in its third investment in China where he has direct responsibility for Partner and Project identification, deal origination, partner, client and investor relations and full Fund Management. Having worked in the UK, China, India, Bulgaria, Romania, and Brazilian property markets Michael offers a wealth of relevant international property experience to @RE RISE Gmbh where he will be a Director of the London based investment advisory business.
Suchit Punnose is the Founder and CEO of Red Ribbon Asset Management Plc., which is a Mainstream Impact Investment investing in projects that deliver measurable environmental and social impact whilst delivering market rate return. Red Ribbon invests in the UK-India corridor in the form venture capital and regulated funds with a special focus on real estate and disruptive construction and proptech. He is of the view that emerging economies will offer the greatest opportunities in the coming decades.
