Austrian and Hungarian Chapters Host Presidential Visits
FIABCI World President Budiarsa Sastrawinata embarked on a journey to Vienna, Austria, on Monday, November 20, at the invitation of local chapter president Matthias Gass. The purpose of the visit was to participate in a meeting with the FIABCI-Austria Board of Directors. Accompanying the World President were FIABCI Secretary-General Narek Arakelyan and FIABCI-Indonesia Vice-President Agussurja Widjaja. During the meeting, they engaged in discussions on real estate developments in Europe and Asia, and deliberated on future activities and events for FIABCI members.
The following day, the FIABCI delegates, along with 10 representatives from the Austrian chapter, traveled to Budapest, Hungary. Their mission was to attend the European Regional Committee Meeting, along with a meticulously planned program by FIABCI-Hungary President László Gönczi. The event was organized in the context of the 25th celebration of the Hungarian Real Estate Development Award, the chapter's National Prix d'Excellence Awards program.
Prior to the Award Gala, the European Regional Committee Meeting took place at the Ethnographic Museum in Budapest. This was followed by an exclusive roundtable discussion involving key players in the Hungarian development market.
László Gönczi, as the organizer of one of the most successful European Prix award programs, shared with his international colleagues the secret of attracting a record number of 50 Hungarian entrants this year. FIABCI World President Budiarsa Sastrawinata was interviewed by both domestic and foreign press, addressing the challenges of the world market.
As part of the program, the FIABCI delegation had the opportunity to visit some of the newest and most outstanding real estate developments in Budapest.
The day concluded with a Business Networking Dinner, providing opportunities for members to meet new colleagues and strengthen relationships with other chapters within the international real estate network.
The day of the FIABCI-Hungary Prix d'Excellence Awards gala began with tours of new real estate project developments, including Metrodom Panorama and Duna Terasz, not to mention the impressive Headquarters at Mol Campus. Delegates marveled at the view from the 29th floor overlooking Budapest.
In the evening, the FIABCI delegation experienced glamour and glitz at the XXV. Hungarian Real Estate Development Award gala. The full list of winners, as well as the official book of this year's edition, can be found here.
Following the Prix celebration, the Hungarian chapter shared this year's results at a press conference. Representatives of the awarded projects had the opportunity to present their achievements to each other and the press. This event supported the presentation of the results of domestic real estate development, construction, architecture, and interior design to both domestic and international audiences over the past 25 years of excellence.
