XX Hungarian Real Estate Development Awards
The month of October proved to be a busy one for the European Chapters' Presidents, who flew to Budapest for a two-day trip that included business meetings, professional visits and - the cherry on top of the cake -, the XX Hungarian Real Estate Development Award Gala.
While October 29th was reserved for meetings, the day that followed was dedicated to a comprehensive professional program that involved study tours to World Prix d'Excellence winners. These include a urban development project in the district of Ferencváros (gold winner 1998 and 2006), a retail, office and residential buildings complex - Corvin Promenade - in the heart of Budapest (gold winner 2011), and the Nokia Skypark Office Building (silver winner 2018).
Perhaps the most important highlight of the two-day trip to Budapest was the 20th anniversary of the FIABCI-Hungary Real Estate Development Award Gala, gathering more than 170 participants, including 50 attendees from 17 countries. The Hungarian property industry’s finest descended to the Hotel Marriot in Budapest on October 30th to take part in the ceremony of FIABCI’s most coveted prize, organized by the Hungarian Chapter and its Principal Member, the Hungarian Real Estate Association (MAISZ). The local Chapter's awards boast one of the most impressive records of winning projects at the international level ― with 21 Gold and 28 Silver FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence awards, and is therefore the most recognized property market in Europe.
At the end, FIABCI-Hungary President Mr. László Gönczi received a token of appreciation for the hard work towards the organization of the latest events and for the continuing efforts to showcase outstanding real estate projects.
