FIABCI Strengthens Industry Presence at MIPIM 2026

FIABCI reinforced its global presence at MIPIM 2026 in Cannes, one of the world’s leading real estate events, bringing together over 100 members from more than 30 countries. FIABCI’s long-established participation at MIPIM continues to serve as a key platform for dialogue, visibility, cooperation, and business development across the international real estate sector.

FIABCI Gala Dinner Opens the Week

A major highlight of FIABCI’s official activities was its traditional Gala Dinner, held at the prestigious Majestic Hotel. Fully booked, the event welcomed members, partners, and distinguished guests, setting a strong tone for the week ahead.

FIABCI had the honor of welcoming Ms. Anacláudia Rossbach, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of UN-Habitat, alongside leaders from prominent partner organizations including RICS, SIOR, CCIM Institute, Miami Realtors, Florida Realtors, and FIABCI delegations from around the world.

The Gala Dinner, along with the broader FIABCI program, reflected the vital role of FIABCI’s Principal Members. As an organization built by and for associations, FIABCI continues to rely on the active engagement of its local, regional, and international members. Their contributions are instrumental in advancing professional standards, fostering cooperation, and supporting the development of the global real estate industry.

Enhanced FIABCI Pavilion Experience

Another key highlight was the FIABCI Pavilion, which unveiled a new strategic location adjacent to the MIPIM VIP Lounge. Featuring a significantly expanded conference area, a sea-view terrace, and enhanced exhibition space, the Pavilion provided an improved environment for networking, meetings, and business development.

Delegates actively utilized the space to showcase projects, explore business opportunities, connect with international peers, and exchange knowledge. The Pavilion hosted an extensive program of over 20 sessions and more than 50 speakers, including panel discussions, keynote presentations, B2B meetings, PechaKucha sessions, and networking events.

High-Level Bilateral Engagements

MIPIM 2026 also facilitated a series of high-level bilateral meetings, further strengthening FIABCI’s international partnerships and strategic initiatives. These included:

Discussions with the Minister of Land, Housing and Urban Development of Uganda to advance FIABCI’s activities in the country, building on the Memorandum of Understanding signed in June 2025 during the 75th FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Lagos, Nigeria.

Meetings with the Executive Director of UN-Habitat and her delegation to prepare for FIABCI’s participation in WUF13, the 76th FIABCI World Real Estate Congress, and the development of a new global partnership framework.

Engagement with the Mayor of Lviv, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with FIABCI’s local chapter to support sustainable and resilient urban reconstruction initiatives.

In addition, MIPIM provided valuable opportunities to connect with chapter leaders, current and prospective Principal Members, and partner organizations, with a focus on expanding cooperation across key sectors such as architecture, brokerage, valuation, development, asset management, and cross-border investment.

Global Visibility and Outreach

FIABCI achieved significant global visibility throughout MIPIM 2026 through a comprehensive communications strategy. This included large-format billboards, print and digital advertising, and coverage in major event publications such as the MIPIM Preview Magazine (pages 2-3) and daily newsletter MIPIM News 1 (page 49). These efforts successfully enhanced awareness of FIABCI’s mission, community, and upcoming initiatives.
