Batumi Forum Showcases Georgia's Booming Real Estate and Tourism Potential
The city of Batumi in Georgia recently played host to a real estate and tourism forum known as "Batumi Real Estate 2023," organised by FIABCI-Georgia and Property Georgia. Under the patronage of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, this important event marked a continuation of the 73rd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress and the World Prix d’Excellence Awards, held in Miami in June this year.
With attendance from leading construction and development companies, architects, urban planners, investors, and experts, the event proved to be one of the most prominent gatherings of the year within the real estate field in the country. Distinguished professionals from various sectors of the industry came together to explore the investment and tourism potential of the Adjara region in a series of engaging panel discussions. B2B meetings also took centre stage during the forum, providing an invaluable platform for networking and forging strategic partnerships.
The 73rd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress, held in Miami from 5 to 9 June, was a momentous opportunity for Georgia. A delegation from the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, along with representatives from FIABCI-Georgia, attended the prestigious event, showcasing the nation's commitment to global real estate development. The FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Awards, which took place on 8 June during the congress, witnessed the debut representation of Georgian projects on this international stage. Remarkably, some of these projects, including Batumi’s Adjarabet Arena, emerged as winners of the highest accolades in the real estate industry.
Expressing gratitude to the supporters of the event, including the Government of Adjara, FIABCI-Georgia, Property Georgia, Colliers Georgia, CMC - Construction Management Company, Archi, Silk Road Group, LISI Green Town, City Institute Georgia, BMG, Alliance Palace Batumi, Khmaladze Architects, UGT, York Holding Group, Dreamland Oasis Hotel, IMEP, Schuchmann Wines Chateau, Villas & SPA, and the International Investors Association of Georgia, the success of "Batumi Real Estate 2023" was a testament to the collective efforts of the industry's key players.
The forum set the stage for continued growth and prosperity in Georgia’s real estate and tourism sectors, serving not only as a platform for knowledge-sharing and business collaboration but also as a testament to Batumi's rising status as a promising destination for international real estate investment and development.
