Three Decades of Prêmio Master Imobiliário: Honoring Resilience and Creativity in the Real Estate Sector
On the night of the event in São Paulo, 25 awards were presented to various companies and professionals in the sector, recognizing their outstanding work across the country.
The night of August 28 was memorable for many professionals in the real estate sector. The 30th edition of the Prêmio Master Imobiliário, held at Clube Atlético Monte Líbano in São Paulo, celebrated some of the industry's most significant projects and reaffirmed its prestige as the "Oscars" of the market.
Sponsored by Atlas Schindler, Bradesco, Comgás, and Seconci-SP, along with media outlets Estadão and Grupo Bandeirantes, the 2024 edition attracted over 800 participants, including winners, guests, government authorities, businesspeople, and leaders from major industry organizations.
The opening ceremony featured speeches from Flavio Amary, President of FIABCI-Brasil, and Rodrigo Luna, President of Secovi-SP, the organizations responsible for hosting the annual awards in the country. Both highlighted the event's significance and addressed crucial and current issues for the sector.
“Our sector stands out for its resilience and determination to overcome numerous challenges. Over the last three decades, we have faced many difficulties. However, courage, determination, creativity, and constant optimism have been the hallmarks of our journey. We must remain confident in the continuation of the valuable work already accomplished and in the new initiatives that address the real estate needs of the population. May the Prêmio Master Imobiliário continue to inspire our country’s capacity for innovation and real estate development,” emphasized Flavio Amary, president of FIABCI-Brasil.
Rodrigo Luna highlighted that the past decades have been marked by profound transformations and progress. “For the Brazilian real estate sector, the last 30 years have seen significant advancements. We have created, innovated, faced challenges, and resisted. We have never given up on defending democracy, property rights, and the constitutional right to decent housing. Throughout this period, the Prêmio Master Imobiliário has documented and celebrated the values our sector has consistently upheld and for which it will always tirelessly advocate,” stated Rodrigo Luna, president of Secovi-SP.
Following the speeches, the awards ceremony was hosted by journalist Ana Paula Padrão and Paulo André Jorge Germanos, former President of Secovi-SP and a contributor to the awards since its first edition. The ceremony also featured musical performances, enhancing the experience for attendees.
Finally, the event concluded with a special dinner in an elegantly decorated setting with live music, providing valuable opportunities for exchanges and networking among professionals.
Gallery of Winners
In this 30th edition, more than 80 cases from various regions of the country sought recognition in the "Developments" and "Professionals" categories.
The "Developments" category included residential, commercial, leisure, and urban development projects, among others, that were completed and operational. The "Professionals" category considered marketing actions, technological innovations, sustainability, social responsibility, and sales, among other areas.
Out of the total number of entries, 24 cases selected by the Judging Committee were added to the Winners’ Gallery, alongside the Hors Concours chosen by FIABCI-Brasil and Secovi-SP, totalling 537 awards throughout the history of the Prêmio Master Imobiliário.
It is worth noting that winners in the "Developments" category are eligible to compete for the Prix d’Excellence, awarded annually at the FIABCI World Real Estate Congress.
Boldness and resilience are key attributes of the Brazilian real estate sector, which has demonstrated its capacity for evolution, adaptation, and innovation over these three decades. This is especially evident in its efforts to address social needs and urban development, aiming to create inclusive, sustainable, smart, fair, resilient, and interconnected cities.
The Prêmio Master Imobiliário goes beyond mere recognition. It tells stories of dedication, creativity, and commitment to quality, inspiring professionals and companies to reach new levels of excellence and contribute to a more balanced and inclusive urban environment.
Thus, the award also celebrates Brazil’s serious, loyal, respectful, and competent side, where every contribution is valued, from the humblest worker to the most responsible leader. Trust in promoting these qualities across all fields—public and private—is essential for maintaining sustainable development and enhancing the country’s reputation as a serious, strong, and fair nation.
The 30th Prêmio Master Imobiliário was undoubtedly a milestone in the history of the Brazilian real estate sector, an event that will remain memorable for all who had the privilege of participating.
