Lily Chang Becomes First Taiwanese Woman to Lead FIABCI as World President
Lily Chang is the new FIABCI World President, having officially assumed office on Friday, June 12, during the Farewell Dinner of the 76th FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Vienna. With nearly 40 years of experience in the industry, she is the first Taiwanese woman to hold the presidency in the history of the International Real Estate Federation. She serves as President of Treasure Dragon Corp., MJ Construction Corp., and Galerie Pierre—roles she has held since the late 1980s and early 1990s. In addition to her executive leadership, she is a respected consultant to the Taichung City Government and has played a key role in advancing architectural and cultural initiatives through her involvement in various organizations.
Lily Chang has held numerous leadership positions, including President of the Taichung City Real Estate Development Association and President of the Taiwan Architectural Aesthetics Cultural Economics Association. She is also a Board Member and Vice President of the Taichung Cultural Education Foundation for Architecture and a Co-Founder of Archiculture Form.
Her contributions have been widely recognized, earning her distinctions such as Honorary Fellow of the Architectural Institute of Taiwan, Prominent Alumna of Ming Chuan University, and the Honorary Citizen Medal of Taichung City.
A dedicated advocate for social impact, Ms. Chang is actively involved in charitable work, serving as President of the Teacher Chang Foundation and holding leadership roles in organizations supporting education and the arts, including initiatives for people with disabilities.
Internationally, Lily Chang is deeply engaged with FIABCI, where she has held multiple global leadership roles, including World President-Elect, World Vice President, and President of the World Council of Developers/Investors. She has also contributed as a Board Member, committee leader, and Trustee of the FIABCI Scholarship Foundation. In Taiwan, she has served as President of FIABCI-Taiwan and played a pivotal role in hosting major international events such as the Global Leadership Summit and World Congress.
Lily Chang’s career reflects a strong commitment to excellence in real estate, international collaboration, and the advancement of sustainable and culturally enriched urban development.
