UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach to Speak at FIABCI World Real Estate Congress 2026

Anacláudia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat (United Nations Under-Secretary-General), will be the Keynote Speaker opening the 76th FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Vienna on June 9, 2026.
Anacláudia Rossbach is the Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) at Under-Secretary-General level. She brings more than 20 years of international experience in housing, urban development, and public policy.
She is an economist by training and has worked with governments, international organizations, and communities worldwide. Prior to joining UN-Habitat, she held senior roles at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, Cities Alliance, and the World Bank.
In her keynote, Ms. Rossbach will explore the housing crisis from a systems perspective, connecting the dots across the housing value chain:
- Land and enabling frameworks
- Construction capacity and delivery constraints
- Materials and scalability
- Operations and long-term performance
- Demographic pressures shaping demand
She will also highlight how to:
- Build a housing coalition and align priorities across sectors
- Identify why demand is not being met and where the main obstacles lie
- Bring unusual partners together to unlock progress
- Accelerate innovations that bridge agendas and organisations
